Part of the funding for our ten member team is raising not only our personal funds for the trip, but also the funds for the Ugandan Participants attending the conference.  We gave Frisco Bible Church the opportunity to partner with us in our "Sponsor an Ugandan Participant" which allowed our members the opportunity to do a full or partial sponsorship; as well as, donate for books and supplies.  I am happy to report that all fifty women and all fifty-five men are fully sponsored.  Thank you so much Frisco Bible Church for your partnership and investing in the lives of our Ugandan brothers and sisters in Christ.

  6/27 Meeting! Yesterday our Costa Rica team prepared crafts (gospel bead bracelets and felt lions), went over travel details, and got a “professional” dance tutorial for the songs we’ll be doing in worship time. We also learned the songs “Yo tengo gozo” (I’ve got the joy) and “Mi Dios es tan grande” (My God is so big). Please pray that: - All details will come together - We will get fully funded - God would continue to prepare our hearts, and the hearts of the kids at Hope Partners International to share and hear the gospel Hope Partners International Website, our blog, and the missions website is linked in our bio. Sweating and Serving Day One

 Today was our teams first day at Doulos Discovery School. We toured the beautiful campus and learned more about their unique educational model. The school grades begin at Pre K three all the way to High School Seniors (Twelfth Grade). All learning is Christ centered, hands on, bilingual (English & Spanish) learning. Fifty percent of the students are in the Sponsorship Program and the other fifty percent are tuition based. This is an incredibly unique model for DR Schools.  After our school tour, we did a cultural assimilation game very similar to the Game of Life Then we had an authentic DR lunch of pollo (chicken) with beans and rice. After lunch we got to work. Part of our team began constructing a wall in one of the classrooms while another team painted the Gaga Pit while the others moved desks, chairs & boxes in the various classrooms.
