Frisco Bible Church Missions

                          Last Conference Days Day 5 and 6 Feed back from the conference has been phenomenal.  We are praising God for his creativity & provision.  Todays topics included: Eternal security & Assurance; The Role of the Law, Salvation in the Old Testament and the Ascended Life of Christ.  The following days topics were Non-biblical views of Salvation, Comparing belief Systems and Defining Christ.  Each day begins with worship, praise and prayer and each day ends with processing time and home visits.  On Friday, the conference concluded with Communion and Certificates of Completion.   In the video below, Martin and AJ summarize all that the Lord has been doing throughout their time in Dubai What a great God we serve! As of this writing, the conference has concluded.  The pastors were given their Certificates of Course Completion & supplies/materials for them to take back to their country.  They will also need to take a "C" test to return back.  Please

                    Worship Time & Teaching Time Martin & AJ share their experience of worshipping the Lord with our brothers and sisters in Christ.  They start each morning with Worship and Prayer before they begin each day of teaching.  Martin translates the worship song: " All nations sing Praises to our Lord.  All Nations recognize His mighty works."    Martin share that for the first few days, he and AJ led worship, but today our Pakistani brothers led the worship time. Martin and AJ sum up days four and five.  Teaching topics for these two days included: The Beginning of Salvation, Conversion, Redemption, Reconciliation, Reformation, Realization, Conditions for Salvation and  Grace and the work of the Holy Spirit.  After each day, the group has time to process what they are learning.  This video has the pastors discussing the role of the Law in the life of a Christian.   Thank you for your prayers.  There is so much material to cover.  Continue to pray for stren

      AJ and Martin talk about how Day Two and Three are going in Dubai.  The teaching subjects have included: The Incarnate Life of Christ, The Resurrected Life of Christ, The Deity, Humanity and Unity of Christ and the Heart of Jesus.  The lessons have been going well with good discussion.  Please continue to pray for strength for our teachers and unity with our Pakistani brothers and sisters as they process each day.

  Tonight, AJ and Martin met our brothers and sisters in Christ for the first time.  Everyone is getting acclimated to the hotel and meeting room.  Here's a few pictures and video from Martin & AJ on how things are going so far

                                 Pastors have arrived Praise God! The Pastors & leaders have arrived safely and are headed to the hotel.  Tomorrow begins the first day of the conference.  Pray for rested bodies, minds and hearts tonight in preparation. A full day of teaching with focus on the Attributes, Person and Plan(s) of God.

Dubai mission trip introduction video

  Our Dubai Mission Team left yesterday.  They have safely arrived at the hotel and are resting and preparing for the Pastor's conference that will begin later this week.  You can follow their mission trip journey here on this blog.  We will provide pictures, videos and updates as we receive them.  Here are some prayer requests that you can begin praying for them as they prepare: Pray for safe travel for our brothers and sisters in Christ from Pakistan Pray for effective communication as AJ and Martin teach.  The material is very heavy in theology. Pray for peace through discussion time Pray for the worship and music time to be enjoyable and glorifying to the Lord Pray for family members that are left back home in Texas.  May the Lord give them endurance
