Dubai Days 4 & 5

                    Worship Time & Teaching Time


Martin & AJ share their experience of worshipping the Lord with our brothers and sisters in Christ.  They start each morning with Worship and Prayer before they begin each day of teaching. 

Martin translates the worship song: "All nations sing Praises to our Lord.  All Nations recognize His mighty works."   Martin share that for the first few days, he and AJ led worship, but today our Pakistani brothers led the worship time.


Martin and AJ sum up days four and five.  Teaching topics for these two days included: The Beginning of Salvation, Conversion, Redemption, Reconciliation, Reformation, Realization, Conditions for Salvation and  Grace and the work of the Holy Spirit.  After each day, the group has time to process what they are learning.  This video has the pastors discussing the role of the Law in the life of a Christian.  

Thank you for your prayers.  There is so much material to cover.  Continue to pray for strength, clarity of mind and unity through discussions. God is abundantly blessing the work for His glory.  There are three more days left for the leadership conference

  Done with day 4, and we want more! Look at all the progress done on the mural! We got very far today (despite a paint spill… oops!) It is going to say “eres importante” which means “you are important”. It will be encouraging to those in the Pavas community to see a bright beautiful wall on the side of the Hope Center that tells them they have value. We don’t think that we will be able to finish it completely in our trip, but when the next group comes they will finish it up. We are glad to be a part of it. Today, our Bible story was the parable of the Good, Smart American— oh wait, we mean the Good Samaritan.  The point of the story is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself. We also read from 1 John 4, which talks about how God is love, and a love for others flows from a love of God.  Our craft was gospel bracelets! Team Theme

 Our team was been gathering on a monthly basis since February.  The purpose of our meetings was team unity.  As a team, we decided our Team Theme Verse: Mark 10:45 "For the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and give His life as a ransom for many".  This is our desire as a team.  One of our very own team members, Madeline Bryant designed the logo for our team shirts.  We will wear these around as we serve.  Please pray that we will be given lots of opportunities to serve like Jesus

Costa Rica 2021 Welcome Video!

  (The video format of this post can be found at this link )      Hello people of the internet! My name is Dani and I am on the 2021 Costa Rica team with Frisco Bible Church. We will be going to Costa Rica July 10-17 and we will be working with Hope Partners International. If you would like to learn more about Hope Partners, there will be a link to their website  here .           While we are there, we will be doing campus beautification in the morning, and a VBS-style teaching in the afternoon.
