 Here's a few thoughts from some of our Uganda team members Post Mission Trip Jeremy Mikeska I was once again amazed that the God of the Universe partners with man to accomplish His purposes. He desires for us work- to think, plan, and pray for people in finding ways to help them see the truth and walk in it. He doesn’t need me, but He longs to use me. And since He knows the questions that others will have when we arrive to teach/serve, He moves in our hearts (sometimes months/years before) to prepare the answers. Our dependence on Him is constant in the studying and writing of lessons and also in answering questions on the fly. The Spirits movement and use of me truly leaves me awestruck! Why would He use me? Simply because He created me to do good works and saved me by grace to give me the opportunity to do those good works.    I am also amazed again at the uniqueness of His people.  Today our team began the travel back to the United States. We enjoyed a day of resting & shopping. The pandemic has really affected the economy of Uganda. Many stores & shops that we had previously visited on prior trips were closed down & for some permanently. We enjoyed a team lunch together at a favorite place, Java House and then headed to the airport to begin the travel protocols back to the US. There were some hiccups along the way but Praise God that He worked them all out for our good & His glory!          The men indulged with some delicious chocolate shakes at Java House We all made it through the travel protocols back to Dubai  Waybaleye Jesu ! 1 Corinthians 15:58

 Today was our team’s last day of teaching. Our FBC ladies came to class in the traditional Ugandan Gomez dress. This is a highlight for our Ugandan sisters especially fixing our gomez’s. The ladies finished the Book of Esther & were encouraged to be ready for the Final Purim when Jesus returns as our blood avenger & to continue to live in community with one another.  The men finished their broad scope of the New Testament as it pertains to the church & its history.  Our teams also took some time to talk about application & how they will apply what they have learned to their lives & those they minister with. After our teachings, Bishop Michael Kyomya gave a benediction to us all not to be “watered down believers”, but to be bold & courageous and to take what we have learned to the ends of the world.  For our Ugandan ladies, this was their third & final year and it was time to Graduate.  Today was our last full day of teaching for the men & women. The men finished up their lessons on Church History while the ladies continued their study on Esther Chapter 7 & 8. The ladies studied the Covenants of Salvation followed by an overview of the Book of Revelation. It was been a wonderful time of learning & encouraging one another in Christ, Tomorrow is Gradation Day for our ladies whom we have been working with for the last three years. The men will have a ceremony as well.

 Another great & busy day of teaching. Here’s some highlights from Day 3. The men began their in depth study of Church History while the women continued their study of the Book of Esther. The ladies also enjoyed a picture frame craft in the afternoon. We are enjoying the wonderful connections & conversations with our Ugandan brothers & sisters. Thank you for praying. One more full day of teaching tomorrow. 

 We had another full day of teaching on Tuesday. The men continued their study of Ecclesiastical Theology and began their study of Church History. The ladies continued their study in the Book Esther and also discussed God’s design for Marriage & Family. What a great day. Our team is safe & secure.
