Preparation

 Lots of prayer and preparation have been involved with our mission trip.  Here's how you can specifically pray for our team as we prepare this week.  Our team is looking forward to our team commissioning at Frisco Bible Church this Sunday, June 5th.

Dubai Mission Trip 2022

  Our Dubai Mission Team left yesterday.  They have safely arrived at the hotel and are resting and preparing for the Pastor's conference that will begin later this week.  You can follow their mission trip journey here on this blog.  We will provide pictures, videos and updates as we receive them.  Here are some prayer requests that you can begin praying for them as they prepare: Pray for safe travel for our brothers and sisters in Christ from Pakistan Pray for effective communication as AJ and Martin teach.  The material is very heavy in theology. 6/27 Meeting Recap

  6/27 Meeting! Yesterday our Costa Rica team prepared crafts (gospel bead bracelets and felt lions), went over travel details, and got a “professional” dance tutorial for the songs we’ll be doing in worship time. We also learned the songs “Yo tengo gozo” (I’ve got the joy) and “Mi Dios es tan grande” (My God is so big). Please pray that: - All details will come together - We will get fully funded - God would continue to prepare our hearts, and the hearts of the kids at Hope Partners International to share and hear the gospel Hope Partners International Website, our blog, and the missions website is linked in our bio. Sweating and Serving Day One

 Today was our teams first day at Doulos Discovery School. We toured the beautiful campus and learned more about their unique educational model. The school grades begin at Pre K three all the way to High School Seniors (Twelfth Grade). All learning is Christ centered, hands on, bilingual (English & Spanish) learning. Fifty percent of the students are in the Sponsorship Program and the other fifty percent are tuition based. This is an incredibly unique model for DR Schools.  After our school tour, we did a cultural assimilation game very similar to the Game of Life Then we had an authentic DR lunch of pollo (chicken) with beans and rice. After lunch we got to work. Part of our team began constructing a wall in one of the classrooms while another team painted the Gaga Pit while the others moved desks, chairs & boxes in the various classrooms.
